Established in 2008, Sakhalin Rope Access Services - SRAS has gained significant hands-on experience within the rope access industry and can be now truly considered the leading industrial rope access company along the Far East region of Russia.SRAS is dedicated to three main fundamental concepts such as highly qualified and skilled personnel – certified equipment – verified and trusted equipment suppliers, which enables SRAS to offer the highest level of safety and quality services.
All work is carried out in a strict adherence to international quality guidelines, health and safety standards. By making vast investments into providing extensive training for staff members, purchasing new equipment and inspecting existing equipment, the company fully meets worldwide recognized industry standards.
SRAS primary aim is to offer the most effective solutions and services, i.e. alternative rope access methods within the industry which are alternative and innovative for Sakhalin region.
SRAS primary mission is to offer high quality services in the maintenance of production facilities by meeting international quality guidelines, health and safety standards when carrying out all work.
SRAS Customers are largest Russian and foreign operators of the oil and gas industry, productions plants and associated facilities.
We are a dedicated team being committed to carry out all works safely and efficiently meeting the established goals and deadlines.
Our capabilities and high quality of services have been evaluated by and received positive feedbacks from major operators of the leading oil and gas projects on Sakhalin and in Khabarovsk region including «Exxon Neftegas Limited» – Sakhalin-1 project, «Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd» – Sakhalin-2 project, «Gazprom» – Sakhalin as well as other contractors, subcontractors and largest construction companies in the region. Having completed over 225 000 man hours up-to-date since establishment, SRAS has a 100% accident-free exemplary health & safety record.
Our experienced and highly skilled personnel comprise a united team of industrial abseiling technicians who possess various technical trade backgrounds and different expertise in their fields. To maintain sustainable mobilizations, SRAS only hires staff that is verified and approved by the Customers. Each employee possesses relevant Russian and international qualifications and certification authorizing them to carry out works at height. Each employee completes regular medical checks to be proven fit for work in extreme north conditions. Refresher trainings and re-certification / examinations on industrial abseiling courses are delivered by “Professional” Training Centre which is a state educational organization based in Moscow. The vocational trainings we organize for our expert team are delivered by the leading Russian training centers such as “Prometei” state scientific center, “Scientific training center: Welding and control at Moscow State Technical University named after N.A. Bauman, NDT assessment regional center, city of Tomsk, etc. Results from all examinations, trainings, courses or medical checks are recorded into specialist working at height log books.
In our quality and safety management system for working at height we are dedicated to strictly adhere to the standards of and guided by the international governing body of IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association), the website of which is www.irata.org. All our technicians are fully trained and certified to required IRATA standards. Training and certification is delivered by Effective Offshore LTD Training Centre - IRATA TMC 5036/T www.effectiveoffshore.ie. All works at height are carried out in a strict adherence to the current requirements of ICOP IRATA and nationwide Russian working at height regulations (Health and safety regulations for working at height # 155 n). At least one IRATA Level 3 Supervisor is present on site at all times on every job which is a must-be requirement at all times when carrying out any works at height.
From 2017 onwards the company is member operator of the IRATA association, with personal number 6028/O, which acknowledges high level of safety, professionalism and strong commitment to safety standards height.
From July 2018 onwards the company is operator trainer member of the IRATA association, with personal number 6028/OT, which directly engaged in operations utilising industrial rope access techniques, and engaged in training personnel in all techniques of IRATA industrial rope access.
